Here are some of my favourite websites:

www.torbwine.com

Ric Einstein has visited us several times, I find him a straight up guy with an excellent palate and possesses fine literary skills, His website is full of interesting articles most containing a degree of witty humour and candour. He cuts through the B... S... and reports accurately on technical aspects of wine production. There's more to this wine website than most of the others combined, it is kept up to date and responds to readers questions promptly.

www.jeremyoliver.com

Jeremy Oliver writes about wine with passion, his descriptions of wine are honest and lack the repetition so often seen in other publications. His website contains many interesting current articles and a huge volume of archived material. I first met Jeremy at Roseworthy Agricultural College in 1981, his interest in wine led to his first book on the subject, his enthusiasm for the subject was most evident and has not waned since. He's a mad keen Bombers fan and a wealth of knowledge on all things about cricket.

I have had a passion for classic British motorcycles since I got my first motorbike when I was 15 years old. Now in my early 50's the list of bikes (about 30) I've owned includes Triumphs and Nortons some Honda and Yamaha road bikes plus an assortment of Bultaco dirt bikes. This website will excite most 'classic riders' check out their gallery. In my shed my trusty '75 Norton Commando Mk3 resides and provides company to my long term project bike a '66 Triumph Thunderbird... now in year 18 of restoration! For days when I need to work off some steam I fire up my Yamaha XT 600 and hit the dirt tracks in the nearby hills. My younger riding mates think I don't do too badly for an 'old bloke' at least when I catch up they know there's no one left behind!

Living in rural Victoria we are fortunate to be able to view the night sky without the interference of city lights. This comprehensive website offers information of viewing opportunities of numerous satellites and all things of an astronomical nature.

My brother David runs this beautiful  well equipped and luxurious fishing charter boat Crusader 111 that operates predominantly out of Port Lincoln in SA. He is a very competent skipper, a former sail maker by trade he has vast ocean racing experience including the Sydney to Hobart and Fastnet yacht races. Check out the gallery and see the ones that didn't get away. His wine knowledge is not so impressive but he does claim to be able to find a good cleanskin for under $2!!!

“Working with tools, similar to that dating back to the first century B.C. fills me with a sense of history and tradition of the old techniques. Glass blowing proves to be an exciting medium with which I can experiment and express my ideas with immediate results on a daily basis”...
James McMurtrie, Victoria, Australia

Get behind the Melbourne Football Club, I try to get down and support my team as often as possible. I've been following the Dees for ages and have been a member since 2000, living in the country and having vintage coincide with the start of the footy season does mean that getting to as many games as I'd like to just doesn't happen. If I'm lucky I might get to between 5 - 8 games in a season, win or lose the atmosphere at the MCG is amazing and our national game has to one of the most exciting there is. When the matches don't coincide and our local team the Moyston-Willaura Pumas are playing I go along and support them. Clayfield Wines are proud to be a sponsor of the Pumas and I look forward to presenting at the home game the 'Massif Play of the Day' incentive award.
